Google Drive is a tool that I use for work, it has assisted me in collaborating with other teachers and administrators. I am a 5th and 6th grade Science Teacher, so I feel I can utilize this in my class. This device has allowed me to share information immediately and there is no need for me to email or save information and send it as well. What I especially like about it is the ability for many users to add, correct or delete information on the same form. One idea that I will be using for my classroom is having students open a google account, in which it will allow me to submit assignment on line and have them do it in google docs so I can have access to them immediately, or whenever I get into my google account myself. Another great use for google docs is for students to work in groups, create a form and they can work on it at the same time, making corrections or sharing ideas. Students enjoy using technology and very familiar with it, so I feel this would be interesting and engaging for them to use in class and at home. Google forms is a magnificent tool to use for research and creating papers or surveys in class, plus students can include pictures and share information with each other and others outside of the classroom. Google mail is very useful for me as a teacher, but I can also see that parents can stay in contact with me if they want any information about their children. Google docs is an extremely useful tool for a class and work, which I feel has assisted me with my teaching and educational career.
